Cleaning checklist

INTERIOR

KITCHEN

• Wipe down appliances
• Wipe down kitchen cabinetry and remove paint and excess dust
• Vacuum all floors.
• Mop all hard floors
• Clean and dust from windowsills and window tracks
• Dust tops of kitchen shelves
• Clean and dust kitchen cabinetry.
• Removal of builders’ dust from all surfaces
• Sweep under appliances
• Clean oven thoroughly where necessary.

LIVING ROOM

• Mop and vacuum all floors
• Wiping down of all relevant appliances
• Clean and dust walls
• Dust window sills and tracks
• Dust and polishing of all surfaces
• Clean and dust all cabinetry

BATHROOM(S)

• Dust all areas including ceiling
• Clean and scrub wall tiles
• Clean and dust window + window sill
• Scrub inside the sink, underneath it, and the faucet
• Clean the vanity area 
• Wipe down all fittings and fixtures
• Thoroughly clean the floor

BEDROOM (S)

• Remove dust from ceilings and walls
• Clean ceiling fans and light fixtures
• Clean – wipe down and dust doors + door frames
• Wipe down baseboards and moulding
• Vacuum all floors / carpets
• Clean and dust windows, window frames and sills
• Remove debris from cabinet tops and wipe the exteriors
• Dust shelving and wall-mounted fixtures

Note: Remove rubbish, nails and screws and builders tape from all areas

Exterior

• Collect leftover rubbish
• Clean exterior walls, patio, balcony, garage and driveway swept
• Dust wall fixtures
• Dust light fixtures
• Wash exterior windows
• Remove rubbish.
